Grade Specifications for Caledonian Hardwood Flooring: Grade A 30%. Best appearance. Selected uniformity of light colour. Slight variation in the natural sapwood colour. Limited small character marks. Pin knots allowed. Mineral streaks of less than 3x25mm. No checks or splits. All natural/real wood products are subject to natural variations in colour. The products sold will be representative of the displayed samples on this website.
Grade B 40%. Combination of A and B grades. Standard high grade flooring sold. Excellent appearance. Variation in the natural sapwood colour. Limited character marks. Sound knots of less than 3mm. Minerla streaks of less than 3x100mm. No stain checks or splits.
Grade C 30%. Variated appearance. All colour variations allowed. Sound knots less than 10mm allowed. Flags, mineral streaks allowed. No splits, holes or voids allowed. All natural/real wood products are subject to natural variations in colour.
